What keeps me interested in the book

The book uses some decent vocabulary. He gives some good detail and makes u feel and wonder how it was to be young in the early 1900's. I also Like how at the beginning of the chapter he tells about the current situation hes in then he starts to remember a earlier part of his life. The way he writes the beginnings of the chapter at times doesn't tell much but at times it really gets you interested in the book. He also gets you knowing the characters pretty well.

conflict

So far in the book there still i the army. Charlie Tommo's brother Has come back from His home after getting shot. Everyone who knew was happy to see him back at the trenches. A couple of days later they had been attacked and where Tommo was at got hit by a shell. He woke up later in a pain and felt like the ground was pushing him down. He tried to scream and his mouth got full of dirt so then he knew he had been buried alive. Everyone helped dig him out who knows how they knew he was alive but I guess they heard him scream. Tommo had been hit in the head pretty bad and couldn't walk very well. him and his brother were in the trenches when the Sargent told them that he was planing on charging out the trench and imto the German Trench (they were in a trench in no mans land and were surrounded). Since Tommo was injured Charlie refused to get out and take care of his brother. The Sargent said if he didn't go hed get him in court and he'd get the firing squad on him and Charlie still Refused to go.

what happening were im at in the book

Now in the book Tommo's brother Charlie was shot in the leg during a night attack by the Germans. He got shot in the leg and had to be sent out of duty and back home. Tommo envy's his brother for being home with all his family. He also cant wait for Charlie to come back so he could feel more comfortable and everything. A couple days later Tommo experiences his first gas attack and panics but in the end makes it through. Though it didnt go so well for some of his comrades and friends.

book soundtrack

If my book had a soundtrack I'm not exactly sure wat in could have but no music really goes good with war. I guess during the battles and killing the song raining blood would come on since bloods raining =). During when he's remembering his childhood classic music would be best since it takes place in the beginin of the 1900's. overall really most of the music would just kinda be classical music.

prediction

At this point in the book Thomas or Tommo is remembering some of his first battles. some of his comrades have died in the battles and the fighting is getting worse. So far its going all right for them but i believe his brother Charlie is gonna die in one of the next battles. Since Tommo is the narorator than he is probably not gonna die.

I recomend this book

Ive began to read the book private peaceful and i think its a great book so far. This book is a story of a kid and his family that live on the countryside. He is taken to the army and he basically remembers his whole life until that moment. I think its a really good book so i recommend you read it.
